Mark Anderson, PhD.
Mark is an archaeologist, writer and speaker, and was born in England. He studied at Reading and Oxford Universities, and worked as a Field Archaeologist before traveling to South Africa to pursue doctoral research at the University of Cape Town. Mark has lectured at many societies and universities worldwide, including UCL, Stanford and Yale, and has toured as a guest speaker for the Archaeological Institute of America. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. Marothodi: The Historical Archaeology of an African Capital is his first book.
